I slowed down and isolated the hysterical antics of the dancers in the first reel of Derek Jarman's "Sebastiane" (1976); the music is "Glittering Mud" by Steve Gray.

We lost so many gifted, talented, and good people to the failed national response to AIDS back in the 80s (i.e., there was no national response, thanks to Reagan and the Religious Right breathing down his neck). And now we are losing gifted, talented, and good people to Covid-19. I was horrified to find out that Samantha Fox died weeks ago from Covid-19. We approach 170,000 dead with millions infected, and Trump's federal government can't be bothered, not to mention his followers who seem happy to either ignore or spread the virus (bug chasers are back, folks). I can't believe we're going through this sometimes. Again, thanks for contributing to the discussion.

There's quite a bit of homoerotic footage in "Sebastiane" that I could use for video compilations; one of these days I may do another. Right now I am learning iMovie and this was my first attempt. Btw, the film is available online and the print I located had English subtitles embedded in it. Well worth a look.

NP.   I recall seeing this movie a couple of years back.  At the time, it wass originally shot on 16mm stock so it was a low budget film to start with.     Richard Warwick is the friend and hopeful lover and  I believe one or both of them do a nude shot swimming in the ocean.   Warwick supposedly died of AIDS years later.

bibbCountyStud is indeed right about the movie, and I thought I titled this Sebastiane 1 (with the e at the end; actual title) but apparently not (sloppy on my part). These scenes are from the opening of the film: Emperor Diocletian is enjoying a homoerotic dance display (that was so outrageous I had to capture it on its own and make a little video of it). The music is "Glittering Mud" by Steve Gray which was also used in Radley Metzger's (Henri Paris's) classic X-rated feature, "Barbara Broadcast." I hope you enjoy. Cheers!

This is from the movie and I believe it's just called Sebastine.  It was about a Roman who converted to Christianity and was sent to a remote outpost where and how he eventually was killed.   Not in this scene, but the blond commander is the same one who was Rocky in the "Rocky Mountain Horror Show."
